Types of Scheduled Video Interpreting
During a video interpreting session, the interpreter is taking turns in speaking with the source-language speaker for the benefit of the person who requires interpreting. This interpreting option is great for small meetings of 2-3 people, like doctor’s appointments, parent-teacher conferences etc.
During this video interpreting session, the interpreter is interpreting simultaneously with the source-language speaker. This type of session is great for a bigger group setting like a presentation, a webinar, a conference, or if more than one interpreter is participating (for two or more languages needed). The interpretation is transmitted on a different channel within the same meeting space, so only the people who require interpreting can hear the interpreter.
How do you Setup an Account with Us?
We can work with any customer platform for consecutive interpreting without any additional requirements. The client has the responsibility to provide iTi’s interpreter with an invitation link. For simultaneous interpreting or for interpreting in more than one language in a single session our team can work with you to establish any requirements and capabilities of your custom platform.

If you do not currently have a video remote service, we will be happy to set one up for you, as well as provide training and support in using it for video remote interpreting.

Please, note that for security purposes we currently do not recommend the use of FaceTime. However, if you would like to utilize that platform you would need to sign a waiver with iTi prior to scheduling services.
