Access to Language Services will not stop and our team is actually working very hard to maintain service levels. Safety is something that we at Interpreters and Translators, Inc. (iTi) take seriously, and our partnerships are crucial in keeping the people we serve safe. We are taking the necessary precautions to keep our communities, our employees, our suppliers, and our clients safe in light of the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) worldwide. Last week, we sent an email to our suppliers and partners outlining the precautionary measures that are now in place, which are in line with the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

We also want to assure you that we are here for you to work on any type of translation or interpretation request you need in relation to COVID-19. Due to our business model, we already operate mostly in a virtual fashion with all linguists – interpreters and translators – working on your projects, assignments and audio/video calls remotely. In addition to linguists working remotely, we have flawlessly executed our Business Continuity Plan where a blend of employees are working remotely while others are physically working from our offices.

Rest assured that our service levels are being maintained and continuously monitored. Our recruiting teams are working hard to ensure every language is available when you need it – both on-demand and prescheduled.

Remote Interpreting Services

Although we are experiencing higher than normal call volume both through our phone and video call centers, we are keeping up with the demand and adding resources as needed in real time.

We realize that many meetings are getting rescheduled until further notice. If you are simply not meeting with clients/patients in person and you are meeting via Teleconference or Video, iTi has a very robust and secure on-demand interpreting platform that can help connect an interpreter in any language through video conference or a phone call.

If you’re one of our clients or prospective clients that is looking to not miss a beat during these trying times, this may be the solution for you. We are ready and able to serve you.

In Person Interpreting Services

We are still filling many assignments every day; however, we understand if cancelling appointments and assignments is the best thing for everyone’s safety and health. iTi is waiving all cancellation fees on prescheduled in-person appointments due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) and we hope to reschedule at the same time a cancellation is made. Of course, we understand if no rescheduling is possible at this time of uncertainty and look forward to serving you in any other way we can.

Document Translation Services

We are translating around the clock at the same speed of light as usual. We are even expediting all coronavirus related translations and already have a number of translation projects completed or in progress for a variety of documents such as:

  • Public service announcements
  • Health questionnaires
  • Outreach materials
  • Health evaluations
  • Prevention letters
  • Intake forms and anything else COVID-19 related.

We handle every translation project with care, and you can count on us to maintain that integrity during this global public health pandemic. Accuracy is just as important as ever and we will never sacrifice quality.

To show our support and gratitude for those working directly for the containment of the virus, we are offering the following:

  • Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island non-profits organizations are eligible for a FREE document translation (up to 2 languages, 200 words or less) on coronavirus related materials. Anything beyond 2 languages and 200 words will be eligible for additional discounts.
  • Interested parties located outside of these three states may call for a discount on all coronavirus-related projects.

Please call us at 860-362-0812 to discuss your upcoming project and feel free to share this offer with anyone who might benefit from our services.
