ITI’s in-person interpreting service allows for an interpreter to be on-site at your office, or in court, when and where you need them for as little or as long as you need them. At a legal deposition an ITI interpreter can help you communicate with clients who speak other languages or perhaps have a limited understanding of the English language. In the courtroom, ITI interpreters facilitate communication and understanding between defendants, attorneys, judges and juries. Interpreters play an important role in the justice system as they ensure individuals are not disadvantaged by a limited understanding of the English language. Having a professional interpreter present in the courtroom or at a deposition can also prevent legal appeals on the basis of denial of access to justice due to language barriers. ITI interpreters are also available 24/7 to assist with police interrogations and can be scheduled to assist with attorney-client meetings at a law office. Our interpreters possess advanced language skills in both their native language and the English language. ITI interpreters have a superior understanding of legal terminology and are trained to do well even in stressful situations or when conveying difficult subject matter.

ITI professional translators can provide you with accurate translations of all your legal documents including: court transcripts, summaries of proceedings, insurance reports, general correspondence, wills, divorce papers, or property deeds. ITI translators have advanced language degrees or certificates and years of experience. At ITI we work with a large network of translators and proofreaders and can provide translation services in all languages and all dialects.
To protect the confidentiality of your documents or those of a client, all ITI translators must sign strict confidentiality agreements prior to working for us. As an additional service we provide transcriptions and translations of audio tapes. We also have in-house notaries to certify that your translation is accurate and true in meaning.
